Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Driver to unload and deliver products, conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and safely operate a CMV with conveyors and carts. You'll handle powered industrial trucks and hand trucks, and assist with returned products and related paperwork.

Required are 21+ years old, 0–1+ years driving, and a valid Class B CDL. Local routes include Sylmar and surrounding areas, with union benefits and full-time hours Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 0 to 1+ years of driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely and professionally operate a CMV including conveyors and carts.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment.
• Pickup returned products including payments and pallets and complete paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position responsibilities:

• The Associate Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle


• Drivers also must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts


• This role will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck


• You will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork


• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years old


• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience


• Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License or equivalent driving experience in the military


• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
