Job description

Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO)

ADP is hiring a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO).

In this role, you will close sales and win new business within a defined territory. You will attend award‑winning training programs and work with both new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions that improve employees' lives across the hire‑to‑retire spectrum. Daily you will cultivate relationships with HR and executive decision-makers, set appointments, gather leads from internal partners, and assess buyer needs to present the best ADP solutions.

You will manage multiple sales processes simultaneously, document them, and support implementation until new business is operational. You will reap industry‑leading compensation, benefits, incentive trips, and awards. Leadership will support your career advancement with continual sales training.

Responsibilities
  • Grow our business while growing yours: work within a protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top‑down sales strategy.
  • Turn prospects into loyal and referral clients: recommend the right solutions to help clients understand and solve real business needs, and earn referral business by networking with existing and prospective clients.
  • Deepen relationships across the ADP family: strategically cross‑sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate daily: serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the broader network while maintaining grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
  • Manage and document sales processes at every stage through implementation, ensuring new business is fully operational.
Required Qualifications
  • Positive self‑starter: upbeat, persistent, and able to cold‑call without fear of rejection; manage time, prioritize deliverables, and multi‑task effectively.
  • Strategic closer: established network and experience carrying a quota in outside B2B sales with a proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory.
  • Proven winner: ambitious spirit that thrives under pressure and motivates to not only hit but exceed sales quotas.

A college degree is great but not required. Acceptable experience may include:

  • Three years of B2B sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results‑driven environment.
  • Military experience, which we value for discipline, commitment, and problem‑solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to build a network and effectively use social media for sales.
Benefits and Work Environment
  • Be yourself in a culture that values equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Join Business Resource Groups to connect globally with shared interests and experiences.
  • Grow your career in an agile, fast‑paced environment with many opportunities to progress.
  • Access ongoing training, development, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Best‑in‑class benefits starting on Day1 and resources for work‑life balance.
  • Focus on mental health and well‑being with support from the organization.
  • Participate in community impact initiatives and company‑paid volunteer time.
