Job summary

PEAK, a URUS brand, seeks an Associate Director of Biosecurity to join the Shawano, WI team. You will collaborate with Production Managers to maintain herd health and provide on-site veterinary services at bull facilities, while guiding biosecurity programs across North America.

The role requires a DVM license in Wisconsin with USDA Type II accreditation, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• DVM degree with Wisconsin license.
• USDA type II accreditation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation abilities.
• Self-starting and team player.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PEAK Production Managers to maintain health and productivity of all animals.
• Provide clinical veterinary services at Shawano, WI bull facilities, including calves on site.
• Support and analyze programs involving animal care, housing, nutrition and production.
• Stay up to date on new research, technologies, and procedures in livestock health and reproduction.
• Monitor biosecurity protocols and disease testing across partner locations; update as needed.
• Promote safety and adhere to PEAK policies.
