Job summary

East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine seeks an accomplished psychiatrist and healthcare leader to serve as Associate Director of the Center for Telepsychiatry and e-Behavioral Health (CTeBH). The role combines clinical practice with strategic and administrative leadership of a statewide telebehavioral health program.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an appropriately accredited institution; Board Certification in Psychiatry; Eligibility for medical licensure in North Carolina.
• Minimum of one year of administrative leadership experience within healthcare systems or large clinical programs.
• Experience with telepsychiatry, integrated behavioral health, and population-based services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategic planning, administration, growth, and evaluation of the Center for Telepsychiatry and e-Behavioral Health.
• Provide leadership for telepsychiatry and behavioral health initiatives across multiple care settings.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate models of behavioral healthcare delivery using telehealth.
• Mentor faculty, clinicians, and staff; recruit and supervise.
• Oversee budget planning, program development, and grant support.
