KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Technology Innovation to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development efforts in the field of Gen AI, including developing new algorithms, models, and techniques for analyzing and interpreting enterprise data.
  • Unite with external partners and stakeholders to identify new opportunities for innovation and research in the field of Gen AI.
  • Stay up to date with the latest research and trends in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in Gen AI.
  • Work with a team of engineers and developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of GenAI / AI projects.
  • Cooperate with cross-functional teams to develop proof of concept (POC) projects and prototypes that demonstrate the potential of Gen AI.
  • Collaborate with other technology groups, including architects, GenAI engineering team, and designers, acting as a thought leader for Gen AI, Gen AI roadmaps, and next-generation technology direction.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum eight years of recent development experience implementing SDLC projects; minimum five years of recent experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Proven experience in deploying AI platforms/solutions to solve business problems and create impact; practical experience with Python, Azure AI services, or similar capabilities on other cloud platforms.
  • Strong leadership skills, experience managing and working with cross-functional teams of developers and engineers; practical experience developing applications with AI technologies, preferably GenAI; strong digital skills, quick learner on emerging technologies and new ways of working.
  • Ability to understand the long-term ('big picture') and short-term perspectives of situations and apply multiple AI solutions to business problems.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to lead a customer-driven, team-oriented environment; capable of setting goals, participating in strategic initiatives, fostering high-performance teams, and influencing organizational priorities.
