Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a sustainability reporting professional to join the External Reporting group in Rahway, NJ. You will focus on regulatory sustainability filings and work closely with the Sustainability Controller and the Executive Director - External Reporting.

The role requires a background in accounting or finance, at least five years in auditing or accounting, knowledge of CSRD and EU Taxonomy, and experience with Workiva. CPA preferred; no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of sustainability topics and regulations (CSRD and EU Taxonomy)
• Workiva sustainability reporting module preferred

Job description

• Focus on the emerging area of Sustainability reporting within the External Reporting group
• Prepare the Company for its initial regulatory sustainability filings
• Report to the Executive Director - External Reporting
• Work extensively with the Sustainability Controller
• Help ensure the Company is positioned for and responsive to growing global regulatory external reporting requirements
• Address environmental, social and governance reporting topics
• Support sustainability reporting compliance, corporate governance, accounting, audits, and sustainability reports
• Drive projects and change in complex environments

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Minimum of 5 years of auditing and/or accounting background
• Working knowledge of sustainability-related topics and regulations
• Familiarity with CSRD and EU Taxonomy regulations
• Project management skills
• Experience in financial reporting, financial processes, and internal controls
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Detail-oriented with commitment to a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to react quickly to changes and work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Previous experience working in complex environments and driving change
• Effective communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships
• Ability to work in a less structured environment for daily activities
• Experience with Workiva sustainability reporting module preferred
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
• CPA preferred

• Valid driving license not required
