Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Associate Director of Commodity Management & Sourcing for Subcontractor Management in Charlotte, NC. You will lead subcontractor programs, manage onboarding, contracting and payments, and drive competitive bidding to ensure on-time delivery and cost control across CSA.

The role requires 10+ years in procurement/ subcontractor leadership, with strong contract acumen, EHS compliance, and ERP SAP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering or Business.
10+ years of procurement/services/subcontractor leadership with people management.
7+ years subcontractor or construction-management sourcing experience.
7+ years contract and commercial acumen, including EHS, insurance and compliance for subcontractors.
7+ years experience controlling services cost and schedule for $100M+ contracted labor; should-cost and negotiation capability.

Responsibilities

Own subcontractor strategy, regional labor pools and rate-card governance across CSA.
Standardize master subcontract agreements, insurance, compliance and risk vetting of the sub base.
Streamline subcontractor payment/AP processes in partnership with Finance.
Run competitive bidding and maintain regional rate cards for defensible pricing.
Control subcontractor cost and schedule on projects and drive on-time delivery.
Coach and develop Contractor Managers; align PMs, Mods Sales, EHS, Legal, Procurement and Finance.
