Job summary

The Ability Center of Greater Toledo is seeking an Associate Director to join the senior leadership team, partnering with the Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple departments.

You will empower leaders, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and align services with Independent Living principles while overseeing Navigators, DME, Home Accessibility, IL, Assistance Dogs, and Advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required; master's preferred.
• Five+ years leading managers or program leaders.
• Understanding of disability inclusion and Independent Living principles.
• Proven track record of improving organizational performance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across assigned departments.
• Coach and mentor department directors.
• Partner with the Executive Director to set strategic priorities.
• Evaluate operations, finances, outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Support budgeting, staffing, grants, and resource allocation.
• Build partnerships and represent The Ability Center.
