POSITION SUMMARY

The One Development Strategic Implementation Leader (SIL), Associate Director, supports One Development within the Immunology TA with focus on Translational Science and Medicine (TSM) and is responsible for leading the delivery of key business elements to progress the portfolio. The Translational Science & Medicine Team is an integrated group of physicians and scientists that supports the mission to deliver remission in patients with immune and inflammatory disorders. The team is composed of physicians, biomarker scientists, computational biologists, and experts in imaging and digital health and is uniquely situated in the Development Organization to enable the advancement of our clinical trials for our industry leading pipeline of novel mechanisms small molecule and biologic agents. Key focus areas of the SIL include facilitation of TSM Leadership team(s) and contributing to and leading the design, build and integration of capabilities into the organization. The One Dev Assoc. Dir SIL is a member of the Immunology Portfolio Strategy & Operations (PS&O) Team, reporting to the One Development Lead SIL, Director, and is deployed within the One Development organization. The One Development SIL, Assoc. Director plays a vital role in delivering translational operational excellence to the Immunology portfolio. He/she is responsible for operationalizing the strategic vision as it pertains to change management of processes, bringing transparency and business excellence to the organization and continually drive organizational clarity and focus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Serve as the facilitator for the VP of TSM and TSM LT. Ensuring strategic positioning, relevant LT agenda topics and timely follow up on actions.
  • Serve as the facilitator for the VP of TS and TS LT. Ensuring strategic positioning, relevant LT agenda topics and timely follow up on actions.
  • Responsible for organizational capability builds including contribution to design, build and integration/change management into the organization (including tools, interfaces and processes)

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

Education and Experience:

  • Ideal candidate would have a B.A./B.S. degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience, a MBA or science related master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a PhD with a minimum of 2-year experience.

Required Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is required, preferably with emphasis on project management, IT platforms and/or resourcing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders is strongly encouraged.
  • Superior communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate at multiple levels within an organization is critical.
  • Collaboration and Teaming – puts interests of enterprise above own; works well across functions and groups; works with TSM teams effectively; instills a global mindset; champions best practices.
  • Tableau knowledge preferred but not required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is:

$137,000 - 220,500

Note: The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $137,000 - 220,500 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
