Saint Peter’s University is seeking an Associate Director of Athletics for Sports Performance to lead sports medicine and conditioning for a division I program in Jersey City. The role guides training room operations, injury prevention, and healthcare policy in collaboration with medical leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field is required.
• Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification.
• At least five years of full-time experience in an intercollegiate athletics department in a supervisory role.
• Must understand NCAA rules and compliance regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Commitment to Jesuit/Catholic mission as part of the Athletics Department.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises sports medicine and strength/conditioning for a 16-sport Division I program.
• Develops healthcare, welfare, emergency action, and SOP procedures and policies for the training room.
• Oversees contracts with health care providers.
• Leads athletic training staff and ensures coverage for home and away events.
• Designs and maintains training room operations and injury prevention programs.
• Collaborates with medical leadership to ensure compliance and quality care.
