Purpose of Position: Under direction of the Director of Social Work (HCF), assists in the planning, organizing, implementation and coordination of the full Social Work Program in a hospital center. Plans, supervises and coordinates the staff and activities of several discrete Social Work units. Serves with full responsibilities and authority in the Director’s absence. In a Psychiatric Facility, assists in planning, formulating policies and practices, coordinates the Psychiatric Social Work program and practice throughout the Hospital Center.
