Kailera Therapeutics, Inc. in Waltham, MA is seeking an Associate Director, Scientific Communications to lead strategic planning and execution of high-quality scientific communications that advance Medical Affairs objectives.

You will shape narratives, drive publication strategy, and oversee development of communications materials in a hub-based onsite role. Required advanced degree with 5+ years in scientific communications; strong publication experience and exceptional interpersonal,

Qualifications

5+ years in Scientific Communications within Medical Affairs or medical communications agency.
Experience in scientific publications and/or medical communications.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills.
Strong planning and organizational capabilities to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to travel to scientific meetings up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for scientific communications across assets.
Lead cross-functional planning discussions and timely development of deliverables.
Manage external agencies, writers, and vendors.
Ensure materials are rigorous, accurate, compliant, and aligned with Kailera policies.
Support evolution of scientific platforms and communication frameworks.
Represent Scientific Communications in governance discussions and prepare for congresses and engagements.
