Job summary

PRIME Education, a property of Everyday Health Group, seeks an Associate Director, Scientific Affairs to lead independent content development and grant activities. You will design educational programs, conduct literature reviews, and prepare abstracts for scientific meetings, collaborating with faculty and departments to meet strategic goals.

You will oversee content quality, participate in grant planning, and advance educational initiatives across multiple medical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Master’s degree in a scientific/medical field or related area.
• 4+ years designing and developing CME/CE activities for healthcare professionals.
• Experience in CME/CE activities supported by pharma companies or government grants.
• Experience in training, project management and staff supervision in a team-based environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-level responsibilities.
• Ability to perform literature reviews and apply findings to product development.
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly per AMA criteria and grant procedures.
• Strong organizational and data-conveying skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry and CE trends.
• Experience in oncology, diabetes, endocrinology, neurology, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-caliber medical and scientific content adhering to adult learning principles.
• Contribute to grant planning, designs, and execution for department goals.
• Maintain relationships with health-care leaders to identify grant opportunities.
• Contribute to outcomes measurement and analysis of educational programs.
• Develop scientific articles, abstracts, and presentations to showcase work.
• Communicate effectively to align with department goals and timelines.
• Identify and resolve issues in instructional design promptly.
• Review content produced by others for accuracy and relevance.
• Participate in PRIME’s learning model decisions and implementation.
• Attend regular department meetings and ongoing grant/content planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
