Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director- Scheduling to join our US Infrastructure team in New York. The role requires strong leadership and a proven track record in managing scheduling for major programs, with on-site presence five days per week in NYC.

The candidate will develop baselines, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to scheduling methodologies while coaching the planning team and coordinating with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is required.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in civil infrastructure scheduling on major programs.
• Strong coordination across multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling on programs within an integrated planning environment.
• Develop milestones and baselines; monitor progress and trends.
• Ensure scheduling methodology is followed and reports are timely.
• Coach and mentor planning team; communicate with clients and project team.

Education

Job Description

Turner & Townsendis looking for anAssociate Director- Schedulingto join our US Infrastructure team. This individual will have strong leadership skills andproventrack recordof successfully manage scheduling on prior projects or programs.

*This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week in New York.*

Responsibilities:

• Work in an integrated planning,costand risk environment within the project tooptimizethe use of available resources to complete work plan scopes within budget and time constraints.
• Ensure that the established planning and schedulingmethodologyis followed in developing the project schedule.
• Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
• Assess subcontractor compliance with established schedulingmethodology.
• Contribute to the development of the Work Breakdown Structure to support project performance measurement.
• Perform analysis of schedule data;identifytrends, issues, and areas requiring attention andcommunicationto the Project Director and Team.
• Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external clients on the project schedule.
• Contribute to the coaching and mentoring of the planningteam
• Lead schedule reporting, including schedule forecast updates and schedule contingency management for specific work packages.
• Lead schedule updates,analysis,and reportsin a timely manner.
• Ensure compliancewithcontractorschedules with the integrated schedules/milestones.
• Analyze resourcerequirementsand availabilityimpactson the schedule and recommend recovery options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying,engineeringor field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant civil infrastructure (Aviation, Rail, Transportation, Bridges/Roads/Highways, Tunnels, Utilities)construction experience working in a scheduling role supporting major programs.
• Experienceworking in complex, fast paced, multi-stakeholder environments which require proactive coordination to ensure project/programsuccess.
• Practical exposure to network planning structures and techniques, experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above, and Microsoft Project.
• Ability toassistwith wider business initiatives asneeded,including responding to RFPs.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written,organizational,and communication skills.
