Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director- Scheduler to join our team in Boise. You will lead scheduling on complex programs, coordinating with project teams and clients to optimize resources and meet milestones.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in construction scheduling, strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project, and outstanding communication skills. On-site role with potential for flexible arrangements; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
  • Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant scheduling experience.
  • Experience in complex, fast paced multi-stakeholder environments with proactive coordination.
  • Proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to assist with wider business initiatives including responding to RFPs.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an integrated planning, cost and risk environment to optimize resources within budget and time constraints.
  • Ensure established scheduling methodology is followed in developing the project schedule.
  • Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
  • Assess subcontractor compliance with established scheduling methodology.
  • Contribute to the Work Breakdown Structure to support project performance measurement.
  • Analyze schedule data; identify trends, issues, and communicate to the Project Director and Team.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients on the project schedule.
  • Contribute to coaching and mentoring of the planning team.
  • Lead schedule reporting, forecast updates and schedule contingency management for work packages.
  • Lead schedule updates, analysis and reports in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with contractor schedules within integrated schedules/milestones.
  • Analyze resource requirements and availability impacts and recommend recovery options.
  • SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role.

Job Description

Turner & Townsendis looking for anAssociate Director- Schedulerto join our team. This individual will have strong leadership skills andproventrack recordof successfully manage scheduling on prior projects or programs.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working in a scheduling role in the construction industry.
  • Experienceworking in complex, fast paced, multi-stakeholder environments which require proactive coordination to ensure project/programsuccess.
  • Practical exposure to network planning structures and techniques, experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability toassistwith wider business initiatives asneeded,including responding to RFPs.
  • Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written,organizational,and communication skills.
