Job summary

GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC is seeking an Associate Director in Dallas to lead engagements in restructuring, turnaround and forensics. You will develop strategies, build financial models, and guide clients through complex workouts and bankruptcy planning.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, a strong finance background, and exceptional communication. Travel to client sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.
• 5-8 years experience in bankruptcy, insolvency, turnaround & restructuring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize demanding projects.
• Understanding of key operational performance drivers.
• Analytical skills linking strategy to performance insights and due diligence findings.
• Advanced data analytics and visualization skills to translate data into insights.
• Ability to extract meaningful information from incomplete data.
• Strong problem-solving skills with alternative explanations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, Bloomberg, CapIQ and related software.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a core team member in developing and executing restructuring and turnaround plans.
• Prepare analyses of financial information to assess trends impacting cash flow and performance.
• Develop financial models including 13-week cash flows, liquidity analysis, and 3-statement models.
• Lead clients through bankruptcy preparation, liquidation analysis, and claims evaluation.
• Advise on out-of-court workouts, debt restructurings, and bankruptcy planning.
• Work with clients to develop business plans and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Create multi-year stabilization and turnaround plans.
• Engage with C-suite executives, lenders and industry professionals.
• Prepare pitch books and background analyses on distressed situations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and senior team members.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance performance.
