Job summary

Elon University on Elon Campus seeks an Associate Director of Residence Life for Facilities and Operations to provide strategic leadership over housing operations, assignments, marketing, planning, and communications. This role supervises professional staff and collaborates with Facilities Management to advance the Residential Campus Initiative.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education, student personnel, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in residence life or related area in higher education.
• Experience supervising professional residence life staff.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage housing operations for approximately 4,000–5,000 bed capacity.
• Coordinate occupancy projections and master planning with Facilities Management.
• Lead housing data management and StarRez administration.
• Oversee departmental marketing and communications.
• Provide leadership in staff training, development and evaluation.
• Serve on the Student Life Care and Response Team.
