Job summary

Santa Clara University invites applications for the Associate Director, Residence Life. This full-time, 12-month role provides day-to-day leadership, supervises two Assistant Directors and Resident Directors, and coordinates all residence life operations to deliver a high-quality residential experience for about 3,400 undergraduate residents.

The position reports to the Director of Residence Life and requires overseeing staff recruitment, training, evaluation, and collaboration with campus

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional full-time residence life staff experience required.
• Experience supervising and developing full-time professional staff strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational leadership and manage staff.
• Oversee recruitment, training and evaluation of staff.
• Coordinate residence life operations with campus partners and external communities.
• Develop and assess the Residential Learning Community Curriculum and student development initiatives.
• Liaise with university offices to support a seamless residential experience.
