Orano Med has developed new processes for producing high-purity lead-212, a rare radioactive isotope. Lead-212 is currently at the heart of promising research projects in nuclear medicine to develop new treatments against cancer. The innovative approach, known as targeted alpha therapy (TAT), recognizes and destroys cancer cells while limiting the impact on nearby healthy cells.
The Associate Director, Regulatory Affairs – CMC will be responsible for leading the global regulatory CMC strategy for product development and registration, and for the preparation of CMC dossier in the expanding field of radiopharmaceuticals in the US and in EU.
This global role will join the regulatory team and will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Affairs. The person will work cross-functionally with the CMC team and the manufacturing sites to lead the regulatory CMC strategy and the preparation of regulatory CMC documentation and submissions in adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company standards.
