Job summary

California State University Long Beach seeks an Associate Director of Academic Planning & Enrollment to lead institutional research, analytics, and decision support for planning, enrollment management, and course scheduling.

This role acts as the SME on analytics, delivering predictive analyses and reporting to optimize resources, student success, and enrollment outcomes across the campus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technical research and enrollment data analysis.
• Experience with SQL/PLSQL, Tableau, and PeopleSoft.
• Experience leading a team of data analysts and student assistants.
• Three years of machine learning and deep learning in Python.

Responsibilities

• Directs the design, development, and evaluation of academic planning and enrollment management initiatives to support data-informed decision-making.
• Data governance, quality and continuous improvement for reporting definitions and methodologies.
• Leadership, supervision, mentoring, and development for institutional research staff in analytics.
