Associate Director, Patient-Centered Outcomes, Global Evidence & Outcomes

This position is part of the Global Evidence and Outcomes (GEO) team, focusing on documenting the patient value of Takeda's medicines to support development and commercialization in the neuroscience portfolio.

Responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing unmet clinical needs and therapeutic preferences.
  • Developing Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) endpoints for clinical development, including strategy integration in key documents and regulatory interactions.
  • Collaborating across teams to meet product needs and develop evidence for COA measurement strategies supporting regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Creating digital tools for patient and healthcare professional support in clinical practice.
Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Sc.D., or Dr.P.H.) in relevant fields plus 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree plus 7+ years.
  • Experience in outcomes research, including Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs), with at least 3 years in PROs specifically.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and health technology assessment (HTA) environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural settings.
Additional details:
  • Travel approximately 10-25%.
  • Location: Massachusetts - Virtual.
  • Salary range: $153,600 - $241,340 annually.
