Ramsey Solutions is seeking an Associate Director of Software Engineering to own the health and direction of multiple digital marketing platforms including e-commerce, analytics, and subscriptions. You will guide engineers toward architectural excellence, set standards, and deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support our mission.

You will lead a team, collaborate with Product, UX, and business leaders, and drive engineering excellence with best practices in DevOps, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with Java/Spring experience.
• Leadership experience with progression from IC to manager-level role.
• Interest in applying AI to improve software engineering.

What You’d Do In This Role

We’re looking for an Associate Director of Software Engineering who will take ownership of the technical health and direction of multiple key digital marketing platforms (i.e. E-commerce, analytics, and subscriptions). This leader will guide a team of engineers toward technical excellence, setting clear standards, driving smart architectural decisions, and delivering reliable, scalable solutions. Beyond strong execution, this role is about building technology with purpose: creating tools and platforms that further our mission of bringing hope to people in every walk of life.

You’re Probably a Match If

• You have a strong software engineering background with the ability to quickly ramp up on Java / Spring.
• You have 4+ years of prior experience as an individual contributor, with progression into a current engineering leadership role.
• You have a proven ability to solve complex problems, drive clarity, and make sound technical decisions.
• You have an interest and enthusiasm in leveraging AI to improve software engineering effectiveness.

• Collaborate across teams to improve platform performance, strengthen engineering standards, and help scale the organization's technical capabilities.
