Professional**Position Details:****The Opportunity:**As the **Associate Director of Residence Life**, you serve as the senior administrator for the Residence Life area within the department and report to the Director of Housing and Residence Life.The Associate Director's primary responsibilities are:* Direct supervision of the Assistant Directors of Residence Life and indirect supervision of Residential Education Directors and 120+ student paraprofessional staff;* Provide direction to and oversight of the residence life program for more than 5,500 residents living in 19 residence halls and 9 apartment complexes;* Plan, implement, and facilitate departmental program assessment and evaluation activities;* Provide vision, strategic direction and facilitate the growth of Living Learning Communities and academic partnerships;* Serve as departmental liaison with important University partners including, but not limited to: Dean of Students, Center for Community Standards, Academic Affairs, Academic Success and Career Center, International Programs, Student Engagement Services, Cougar Health and Counseling and Psychological Services, and New Coug Orientation;* Lead processes to recruit, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and retain talented and diverse residence life staff;* Assume administrative responsibilities as directed.**Additional Information:**This is a **full-time** (**100%** FTE), **permanent position**. For additional information, please review the and .**Required Qualifications:*** Positions require Master's degree in a relevant field and Minimum of five years post-master's experience working in a college or university residence hall system which has included at least two (2) years of management experience.
