Associate Director of Operations


Position Overview

The Associate Director of Operations will play a critical leadership role, overseeing day-to-day clinical and administrative functions to ensure efficient, compliant, and patient-focused operations. Working closely with the Operations Leadership team, this individual will help shape strategic initiatives, streamline workflows, and lead operational excellence across the clinic.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee daily operations of the clinic, including front desk, scheduling, billing, and facilities.

  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

  • Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow, scheduling, and care coordination.

  • Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular operational reports for leadership.

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and contribute to organizational planning.

  • Manage vendor relationships, supply chain, and clinic infrastructure needs.

  • Assist with hiring, training, and performance management of non-clinical staff.

  • Serve as a liaison between departments to foster communication and problem-solving.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • 5+ years of healthcare operations experience, preferably in an outpatient or clinical setting.

  • Proven leadership and team management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, billing practices, and operational workflows.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Tech-savvy, with experience in EMR systems and operational software.
