The Associate Director of Leadership Giving Parents will contribute toward the team goal of raising a designated amount (in millions) in unrestricted and overall in Annual Giving, and campaign goals and is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and management of Loyola’s Parent Giving Program, oversees the solicitation and stewardship of Parents Council volunteers, and manages the successful planning and execution of Loyola's Parent Program. Reporting to the Director of Leadership Giving, this role provides leadership and direction managing a portfolio and using various marketing channels to meet the goals of Parent Philanthropy. Personally solicit and steward a portfolio of 100-120 prospective and current donors for leadership and special gift support to Loyola's Annual Fund, focusing on current and prior parents as well as alumni who are legacy parents. Attaining 8-10 visits per month and setting an individual goal to attain $750,000 in annual giving support, this individual will help advance the overall annual giving goals. Collaborate with Directors of Development on joint visits. The individual will have the opportunity to solicit annual, multi-year, and planned gifts to assist the team in realizing their annual and overall Advancement goals. Collaborate with advancement services to identify potential leadership donors on the Parents Council. Recruit members of the Parents Council, soliciting for volunteer support and leadership annual gifts. Develop clear roles and responsibilities for members of the Parents Council. Assign prospects by region to Parents Council members for promotional event and fundraising correspondence. Develop a calling plan for Parents Council members for fall and spring promotional calling campaigns and ensure their successful engagement through regular contact via phone, e-mail and mail. Develop a communication plan that provides support and feedback to Parents Council volunteers on their work in order to meet shared goals. Collaborate with office of alumni engagement on parent events and meetings. With the support of the advancement events and donor engagement colleagues, lead the planning and execution of advancement events involving leadership parent prospects. Coordinating with their supervisor, develop clear roles and responsibilities for the successful scheduling, planning, and execution of all parent events with the advancement events and donor engagement colleagues and other key administrators, as needed. Coordinating with their supervisor, collaborate with other departments on campus, specifically the office of alumni engagement, admissions, student development and the career center, to ensure messaging to parents is relevant and strategic in nature. Assist with annual days of giving, manage volunteer recruitment and provide tools for outreach. Assist with communications to Parents Council such as Loyola introductory letter, and assist and attend parent events and meetings throughout the year. Education required: Bachelor's degree. Experience required: 3-5 year's relevant work experience required. 3-5 years experience. Bachelors Degree with Masters Degree Preferred. Successful candidates for any staff, faculty, or administrative position at Loyola University Maryland will be subject to a pre-employment background check. Note: Experience and/or education may be substituted for requirements.
