Job summary

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications for the Associate Director of Integrated System. This on-campus role offers some hybrid/remote work flexibility and leads the undergraduate admissions technology stack including Slate and data workflows.

Responsibilities include supervising a team, ensuring data integrity, and advancing enrollment management systems with strategic vision and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working in CRM and SIS management in a university environment.
• Knowledge of HTML, SQL, XML, or other similar formats.
• Advanced skills in a variety of computer applications and reporting tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to end users, business stakeholders and management both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines and follow through on assignments with minimal direction, often under pressure.
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and tact with all levels of constituents.
• Skills of working independently in a changing environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability creating reports (MS Access and Excel).
• Ability to work with large data sets, verifying and checking data thoroughly for accuracy and completeness, and importing and exporting files between software programs.
• Knowledge of Banner.
• Knowledge of recruitment/enrollment process.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities at one time
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment, excellent oral, written and interpersonal problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision related to components of the undergraduate admissions and enrollment management systems.
• Manage and maintain the units CRM system (Slate).
• Identify new efficiencies that directly impact service to students.
• Provide strategic vision and guidance towards Enrollment Management Division’s technology plans.
• Ensure up-to-date documentation of policies and procedures related to data integration and imaging processes.
• Supervise a team responsible for all incoming documents, data and information used in the application process for undergraduates.
• Evaluate the system, optimize, and ensure data integrity.
• Utilize best practices to ensure UT Undergraduate Admissions innovates and communicates effectively.
