The Associate Director of Admissions serves a dual role on the MBAAdmissions team, supporting both Admissions Marketing &Communications and the Admissions Committee. Reporting to theSenior Associate Director of Admissions, this position executesmarketing and communications initiatives that support recruitment,yield, and matriculation while serving as a full member of theAdmissions Committee. The ideal candidate is an exceptionalcommunicator and project manager who enjoys collaborating acrossteams, engaging with prospective students and alumni, andcontributing to a dynamic admissions environment.
The Admissions Marketing & Communications team executesmarketing initiatives that support recruitment, yield, andmatriculation across the full-time MBA Program. Working under thedirection of the Senior Associate Director, the Associate Directormanages the MBA Admissions alumni yield program and other yieldinitiatives designed to strengthen engagement with admittedstudents. This role oversees alumni outreach, communications,programming, and process improvement while identifyingopportunities to enhance the admitted student experience andmaximize program impact. The Associate Director also supportsmarketing and communications efforts throughout the admissionscycle, executing initiatives that promote recruitment, engageprospective and admitted students, and support matriculation whilemaintaining consistency with Wharton brand standards andmessaging.
As a member of the Admissions Committee, the Associate Directorevaluates applications for admission, conducts applicantinterviews, participates in committee discussions and admissionsdecisions, and represents the MBA Program through recruitment andyield activities. The position also serves as an ambassador for theprogram through presentations, webinars, information sessions, anddomestic and international recruitment travel.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years ofexperience (or an equivalent combination of education andexperience) in admissions, marketing, communications, journalism,public relations, or a related field.
