Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an Associate Director - Network Security to lead planning, implementation, and maintenance of the network security infrastructure. You will ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of network resources, data, and systems, while guiding a team of security professionals and collaborating with IT and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in network security, a BA/BS degree, and vendor certifications; strong communication skills and a strategic

BA/BS degree required.
At least 7 years of network security experience.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
Vendor certifications in Palo Alto, F5, or Gigamon preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive network security strategy aligned with NYU Langone Health's objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of security professionals.
Design secure network architectures including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS.
Establish incident response procedures and coordinate investigations.
Manage security vendor relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
Promote security awareness through training programs.
Oversee risk assessments and budget planning.
Maintain incident records and prepare management reports.
