Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking an Associate Director - Network Security to lead planning, implementation, and maintenance of the network security infrastructure. • At least 7 years of network security experience.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Vendor certifications in Palo Alto, F5, or Gigamon preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive network security strategy aligned with NYU Langone Health's objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of security professionals.
• Design secure network architectures including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS.
• Establish incident response procedures and coordinate investigations.
• Manage security vendor relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote security awareness through training programs.
• Oversee risk assessments and budget planning.
• Maintain incident records and prepare management reports.
