Job summary

Clorox is seeking a senior (hybrid) leader to drive large-scale margin transformation initiatives across the value chain, focusing on portfolio optimization and design-to-value. You will orchestrate ideation, business-case development, and cross-functional execution with executive visibility.

The role emphasizes global coordination, enterprise risk management, and close partnership with business units and functional leaders to deliver margin improvement targets.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience focused on business transformation delivering complex cross-functional programs.
  • Experience in ideation, facilitation, brainstorming and business case development.
  • Experience in supply chain operations and/or product development and management.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods or consumer industries is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong facilitation, ideation, coordination skills and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate and execute margin transformation program ideation and discovery to fill the 3-year pipeline.
  • Document and prioritize opportunities and develop detailed business cases with margin potential visibility.
  • Evaluate interdependencies and elevate risks to executives and workstream leads.
  • Track value realization and manage risks and mitigations related to financials.
  • Coordinate margin improvement efforts across the enterprise with cross-functional planning.
  • Partner with SBUs and functional leaders to enable execution of targets and shared accountability.
  • Support executive communications and meeting materials for leadership updates.
  • Develop communications and education to support the Margin Transformation Office objectives.

Job description

Your role at Clorox

We are looking for a dynamic team member that can drive large‑scale ideation, analysis, and roadmapping associated with margin improvements. The focus for this individual is to identify margin enhancement across the value chain with a greater emphasis on portfolio optimization and design‑to‑value. The scope of the Margin Transformation Office is full Gross Margin, which includes both cost savings and revenue growth management activities. This global team will drive margin transformation across all of Clorox, in partnership with executive leadership, business unit general managers, and functional leaders.

Margin transformation program orchestration & value capture
  • Orchestrate and execute margin transformation program ideation and discovery to fill the 3‑year pipeline.
  • Document and prioritize opportunities, facilitating the development of detailed business case analyses that provide full visibility into margin potential.
  • Evaluate interdependencies across initiatives and elevate risks to the executive team and workstream leads as necessary.
  • Track margin improvement program value realization; manage risk and mitigations related to financials.
  • Drive coordination and execution of margin improvement efforts across the enterprise and proactively plan cross‑functional actions for risks, mitigations, and dependencies.
  • Partner with Strategic Business Unit and Functional leaders to enable execution of margin improvement targets and share joint accountability for their delivery.
  • Support the creation of executive updates (e.g., Senior Executive Committee, Board updates) and develop meeting materials, consolidating materials from Business Units and working teams.
  • Assist in the development of communications and education in support of the Margin Transformation Office objectives across the enterprise.
Strategic enterprise margin improvement enablement
  • Support development of processes, tools, techniques, and playbooks to advance margin improvement ideation and identification.
  • Facilitate best‑practice sharing across business units and functions to enable value creation.
  • Serve as a challenge partner for Business Units and Functional teams, leading them to identify and evaluate opportunities to achieve, and exceed, targets.
  • Maximize the efficient and effective use of resources, knowing how and when to leverage external partners, internal technical and functional resources, and BU expertise.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience focused on business transformation, delivering complex, cross‑functional programs.
  • Experience in effective ideation, facilitation, brainstorming and business case development.
  • Experience in supply chain operations and/or product development and management.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods or consumer industries is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong facilitation, ideation and coordination skills; ability to drive forward new ways of thinking and solicit input from a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and/or solutions to multiple organizational levels, internally and externally, as needed.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence across a range of functions, teams and levels.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, resolving, and documenting complex issues and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated strategic ability to solve complex global cross‑functional issues exercising critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Self‑starter with strong results orientation, able to drive progress in an ambiguous environment and track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
  • Takes an enterprise view that considers and anticipates implications across multiple global stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business management, or another related field.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Workplace type

Hybrid/Dynamic role: 3 days in office per week.

    • ZoneB: $132,200–$265,700
