Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director to lead system integration efforts between manufacturing operations and shop floor systems, including MES, AVEVA PI historians, and DeltaV process control.

The role ensures reliable data flow, enables manufacturing analytics, and drives operational excellence across global sites. You will design, deploy, and scale integrations, mentor engineering teams, and uphold change control and validation processes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in manufacturing technology or industrial systems.
• 5+ years in systems integration, automation, or manufacturing IT/OT.
• Strong experience with MES, PI, DeltaV, APIs, OPC UA.
• Proficiency in SQL and manufacturing data ecosystems.
• Understanding of SDLC, validation, and manufacturing processes.
• Preferred pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.

Role

Objectives

Requirements

12+ years in manufacturing technology or industrial systems; 5+ years in systems integration, automation, or manufacturing IT/OT; strong experience with MES, PI, DeltaV, APIs, OPC UA; proficiency in SQL and manufacturing data ecosystems; understanding of SDLC, validation, and manufacturing processes.

Preferred

pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, familiarity with Ignition, edge computing, OEE, and real-time scheduling systems; global manufacturing environment exposure.

Work setup

hybrid model with 10% travel, based in the US or Puerto Rico.
