Job summary

AoPS Academy in Bellevue seeks an Associate Director to oversee administrative and logistical operations while teaching weekly language arts classes and partnering with the Campus Director on hiring and training part-time staff.

The role is a full-time, year-round position with evenings and weekends typical; relocation bonus is available for candidates outside the greater area, and a competitive compensation package includes a salary range of $82,600–$84,575, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, education or related field preferred.
• Advanced degree related to subject area preferred.
• Strong content knowledge in language arts.
• Minimum 1-year teaching experience with advanced K-12 students preferred.
• Strong organizational and priority management skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented classes.
• Participate in hiring and training of part-time staff.
• Assist with administrative, logistical, and customer service operations.
• Meet with prospective families to discuss student fit and program benefits.
• Counsel students and families for student support.
• Design and implement campus community activities to boost retention.
