Job summary

Vertex Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Kidney Training & Development to design and lead capability-building for the Kidney business.

You will direct training initiatives, develop leadership programs, and collaborate with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, HR, Compliance, and other partners to ensure compliant, high-impact learning for field teams. The role covers unbranded education, product launch readiness, and ongoing upskilling, using live, virtual, and digital formats.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and facilitating training for field sales and leadership audiences.
• Ability to translate business strategy into practical learning solutions.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage training programs for Kidney BU field teams.
• Serve as primary training lead for customer engagement liaison team.
• Advance leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
• Drive capability-building initiatives across the business.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Compliance.
• Develop content and workshops for disease state and engagement models.
• Coordinate with external vendors for instructional design and logistics.
• Deliver learning experiences across live, virtual, and digital modalities.
• Provide insights on learning needs, gaps, and performance trends.
• Oversee training development, vendor selection, budgets, and timelines.
• Ensure content complies with Vertex standards and regulatory guidance.
• Identify and implement new approaches to improve scalability and learner experience.
