Job summary

5AM Ventures is seeking an Associate Director, Investor Relations in Boston to lead investor communication and fundraising operations. You will own the CRM, manage fundraising pipelines, and coordinate data rooms and reporting for LPs.

The role oversees materials, events, and international investor outreach, partnering with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years in IR or VC, deep fundraising knowledge, and strong leadership to credibly engage LPs and streamline processes

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in investor relations, venture capital, private equity, or fund operations.
• Advanced CRM expertise with data governance and process optimization.
• Deep knowledge of fundraising strategy, LP engagement, and due diligence onboarding.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and credible LP communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the CRM as the source of truth for investor, prospect, and portfolio data.
• Manage fundraising pipelines for Opportunities and Ventures funds.
• Oversee monthly reconciliation of fund balances and transactions from fund admins.
• Lead data room setup and ongoing fundraising/investor reporting.
• Support fundraising strategy, marketing materials, and events including LP meetings.
• Manage relationships with European placement agents to develop international pipeline.
• Oversee investor-facing materials, quarterly reporting, and capital activity communications.
