Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or A.A. degree plus three years directly related experience.
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered Dietitian.
• Minimum of one to three years hospital or adult home/care experience depending upon degree or training.
• Three to five years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls and presentation.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills required to be successful.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support safe, sanitary and cost-effective foodservice operations across patient care and non-patient care areas.
• Promote client and patient satisfaction while maintaining strong relationships with hospital teams and client representatives.
• Foster professional growth and development of the foodservice team and integrate with facility operations.
