RBC Capital Markets, LLC invites qualified candidates for an Associate Director, Local Market Risk in New York. You will oversee equity derivatives risk, manage reporting, and analyze complex transactions to inform hedging and risk controls.
Collaboration with trading, risk, and technology is essential in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 7+ years in derivatives or market risk, strong Python/SQL skills, and the ability to work autonomously while communicating clearly with stakeholders.
As part of the Group Risk Management team, the Associate Director at Local Market Risk is responsible for providing independent and effective monitoring, control, and communications on the nature and extent of all material market risk and ensures the implementation and compliance with risk management policies and procedures.
The new hire will join as a member of the GRM Market Risk team responsible for oversight of equities derivatives in New York. Coverage includes equity derivatives structured products and flow.
You will partner with stakeholders across trading business, risk management and technology to ensure the implementation of and compliance with market risk policies and procedures.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $120,000-$200,000 (New York) depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
