Job summary

Secretariat is seeking an Associate Director of Technology Disputes to join our Global Investigations and Disputes team. Hybrid preferred or remote, you will work with forensic accountants, data specialists, and regulators to deliver investigative and regulatory insights.

The role emphasizes engagement leadership, client development, and high-quality reporting, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and contribute to thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in legal industry (or equivalent education), expert consulting services, complex IT advisory, investigations.
• Experience with technology standards.
• Strong analytical and expert report writing skills.
• Proven engagement management experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel as needed (estimated between 20% and 40%).

Responsibilities

• Engagement Leadership: Manage matters end-to-end, including scoping, workplans, staffing, budgets, and quality control.
• Draft and direct the preparation of expert reports, rebuttals, and demonstratives; coordinate with counsel on case strategy.
• Lead review of documents and other relevant evidence for each matter; oversee analyses, software implementation performance, and vendor delivery QC.
• People Leadership: Train junior staff, maintain templates, and mentor team members.
