Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Director of Scientific Communications in Global Immunology Medical Affairs, based in Horsham, PA, with a hybrid work model combining onsite collaboration and remote work per policy.

The role leads publication planning, scientific communications, and evidence dissemination for Atopic Dermatitis, Respiratory indications, and Psoriatic Disease, partnering with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, and other stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Scientific Communications, Medical Affairs, Publications, Clinical Research, Medical Communications, or related pharmaceutical industry functions.
• Demonstrated experience leading publication planning and execution within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical communications environments.
• Experience developing and overseeing scientific communication materials, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress presentations, and related deliverables.
• Experience collaborating effectively with medical writers, publication vendors, investigators, and cross-functional scientific teams.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects within a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead publication leadership, planning and execution for assigned projects and assets.
• Provide scientific leadership and oversight for publication materials and communications.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, and Programming to support objectives.
• Mentor publication managers, medical writers, and agency partners to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Ensure compliance with publication standards and governance throughout the process.
