The Associate Director, Global HEOR will play a critical role in the development of HEOR strategies and plans, will conduct HEOR and RWE studies and develop publications and deliverables to support the development, launch, and commercialization of AMT-130 for Huntington's disease. We work closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Commercial, Regulatory and other groups to ensure evidence needs are identified and addressed to demonstrate the value. Reporting to the Executive Director, HEOR, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to one of the most innovative programs in biotechnology, helping bring potentially transformative gene therapy solutions to Huntington's disease patients around the world.

Key Result Areas (major Duties, Accountabilities And Responsibilities)
- Develop and implement HEOR strategies and programs to support the launch of AMT-130 globally and in the USA, ensuring optimal market access.
- Collaborate with business partners to develop and support compelling product value propositions with aim to optimize patient access.
- Identify HEOR evidence requirements and gaps, and design, conduct, and deliver studies and tools to support relative value demonstration and product differentiation.
- Leverage RWD analytic tools to inform development programs and key business questions.
- Lead the conduct of regulatory-grade real world evidence studies and provide education on emerging opportunities for employing RWE in Huntington’s disease.
- Develop and implement Clinical Outcomes Assessment (COA) measurement strategies and plans in support of product labeling, patient access and product differentiation.
- Support global HTA submissions
- Have a solid understanding of global payers and HTA global processes
- Develop and continuously improve health economic models for Huntington’s disease
- Adapt health economic models to support global HTA submissions for price and reimbursement in collaboration with global and country local market access teams
- Collaborate with the market access team to develop and maintain up to date global payer engagement material (e.g., GVD, AMCP dossier and payer decks)
- Support US payer engagements providing HEOR expertise to the USA account and payer engagement team
- Deliver "launch-ready" U.S. economic models to optimize patient access and reimbursement ahead of commercial market entry
- Ensure all research initiatives strictly adhere to internal study governance processes, ensuring high ethical and scientific standards, including obtaining necessary internal approvals and cross-functional alignment
- Work with external vendors and internal teams to design and execute evidence projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery while managing budgets
- Ensure timely measurement and communication of the external and internal impact of generated evidence to demonstrate value to the organization
- Translate research outputs into practical tools (e.g., value decks, proactive/reactive field materials) in collaboration with the scientific communications team, equipping field medical and access teams for future launches
- Evaluate relevant payer and health technology assessment (HTA) decisions, collect feedback in advisory meetings and apply key takeaways
- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of regulatory and payer/HTA considerations that may impact planning for and implementation of HEOR programs
- Drive pull-through and communication of evidence strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional asset and governance teams, healthcare decision-makers, and clinical practitioners
- Report, publish and disseminate HEOR data and study results in compliance with company, industry and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced degree required (PhD, PharmD, DrPH, ScD, MS, MPH) in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Pharmacoeconomics, or a related scientific discipline.
- 4+ years of HEOR experience with a PhD, or 6+ years with a Master's degree.
- Experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare consulting, or related life sciences environments.
- Strong technical expertise in designing and conducting HEOR, economic modeling, and real-world evidence studies.
- Experience supporting global payer, reimbursement, and HTA submissions.
- Understanding of regulatory considerations impacting evidence generation, including FDA and EMA frameworks.
- Experience developing cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and value assessment models preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with scientific, clinical, commercial, and market access stakeholders.
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, relevant years of experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from where they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
US Salary Range
$188,000-$228,000 USD
