Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Clinical Trial Lead to drive trial activities and provide scientific leadership for multiple studies in New Jersey. You will manage startup, conduct, and close-out phases, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality data generation and regulatory support.

Required are 5+ years in clinical research, strong GCP/ICH knowledge, and experience with protocol/ICF development, data review, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in clinical science/clinical research (or equivalent).
• GCP/ICH, drug development process, study design/statistics, and clinical operations.
• Data review, trend identification, and data interpretation.
• Knowledge of data monitoring/dose review and independent adjudication committees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of assigned protocols; educate supporting team.
• Plan and lead study startup/conduct/close-out activities.
• Evaluate innovative trial designs.
• Lead protocol and ICF development (writing/review/adjudication of cross-functional comments; ensure clinical quality).
• Site-facing support: training and primary contact for clinical questions.
• Data generation/validation: CRF design, clinical data review/query resolution; ensure CS team quality.
• Identify clinical data trends; elevate to Medical Monitor.
• Develop and review clinical narrative plans.
• Provide inputs for trial budget/CRO scope.
• Review site/CRA training materials and support SIV/investigator meetings; support study committee activities.
• Draft/review/validate CSRs and clinical portions of regulatory documents (e.g., IB, DSUR).
• Liaison to external partners for scientific advice.

Compensation/Benefits (as listed)

• Compensation ranges (full-time): Cambridge Crossing $211,910–$256,789; NJ (Madison/Giralda) $184,270–$223,294; NJ (Princeton) $184,270–$223,294.
