From world capitals to college campuses, AJC works with leaders across society to stand up for Israel, confront antisemitism, and uphold democratic values. In response to Hamas’ October 7 attack—the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust—AJC mobilized its global network to address the unprecedented threats facing world Jewry. Join us. Together, we can shape a new future for Israel and the Jewish people.

Your Department

The IT Department develops and implements IT strategies and systems supporting the organization’s mission. We ensure that AJC’s infrastructure supports the computing, data management, and communication needs of over 300 employees across four continents.

Your Role

Gift Processing Management

  • Supervise and mentor the Gift Processing team, providing direction, training, and feedback. Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment to ensure timely gift processing.
  • Lead gift processing functions and assist with data entry when necessary.
  • Implement effective procedures for following up on gifts with missing or unclear information and oversee pledge and gift payment processing.
  • Coordinate with program staff to track and appropriately utilize restricted gifts. Develop procedures for accurate and timely reporting to donors.
  • Focus on improving operations related to gift acknowledgments, tax substantiation, and quarterly pledge reminders.
  • Ensure efficient transaction processing and financial reporting within the “Pledge to Cash” process. Manage internal controls to ensure accurate recording, proper documentation, and safeguarding of funds.
  • Coordinate with the Development team to resolve donor issues.
  • Manage reconciliation of gift data across systems, primarily Raiser’s Edge.
  • Work with National Development on financial reporting for endowments and other donors.
  • Prepare various revenue reports for campaigns, providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist with reconciliation between NetSuite, Raiser’s Edge NXT, and bank records.
  • Serve as the lead contact for creating new gift codes and ensure proper implementation.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Database Administrators, and Development Operations to streamline the “Pledge to Cash” process through technology and innovation.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with National Development, Regional Offices, and IT to ensure alignment of systems and procedures.
