Kyndryl Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Full-stack Forward Deployed Engineer in Frisco, TX, with hybrid onsite work three days a week. You will own end-to-end AI deployments, from frontend UI to robust backend pipelines, using Python/JavaScript and state-of-the-art RAG architectures.

You will lead enterprise AI engagements, design scalable architectures, and ensure production readiness, performance, security, and value delivery for clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript backend development.
• Hands-on experience building, designing, and deploying apps using modern frameworks and orchestrators (LangChain, AutoGen, or CrewAI) in production.
• Experience designing and maintaining frontend apps (React, Angular, or Vue) with streaming data or real-time query responses.
• Practical understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, Qdrant, Chroma).
• Experience deploying containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes to cloud hyper-scalers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong proficiency with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL, and data tools like Pandas and Spark.
• Deep familiarity with Git, GitHub, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices.

For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement. This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans.
