Cal State East Bay is seeking an Associate Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships to oversee counseling, scholarship administration, compliance, and operations in support of student success. The role reports to the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships and leads staff across the Financial Aid Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; six years of progressively responsible work in higher education financial aid administration.
• Experience leading and supervising staff within a financial aid/ student services context.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for daily Financial Aid Office operations and student-centered service delivery.
• Supervise and develop financial aid staff and student employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, CSU and institutional financial aid regulations and policies.
• Coordinate with the University One Stop to support integrated services.
• Oversee scholarship administration and coordination activities.
