Job summary

National Louis University is seeking an Associate Director of Faculty Contract Operations to shape how contracts and instructional costs are managed across the university. The role leads contract staff, drives automation, and partners with IT, HR, Finance, Payroll, colleges, and the BI Group to build tools including electronic load tracking and a faculty dashboard.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in higher education, with strong project and budget management skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business, analytics, organizational leadership, higher education administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of closely related work experience preferably within Higher Education.
• Experience managing a team of direct reports and evaluating performance.
• Proven change management and process-improvement capabilities.
• Budget management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide final review and approval of contracts for adjunct and full-time faculty and staff.
• Supervise and mentor contract specialist team.
• Distribute contract reports and data to institutional stakeholders timely.
• Lead process mapping and improvement for faculty contract processing.
• Collaborate with IT to implement electronic systems for tracking faculty load data.
• Deliver training on new contract and faculty-load systems to faculty and administrators.
• Standardize contract types across HR, Finance, Payroll and colleges.
• Serve on the Academic Operations Group with leadership on contracts and operations.
• Coordinate with the University Scheduling Center for integrated processes.
• Lead cross-functional projects advancing university and Provost priorities.
• Own the faculty dashboard and govern enhancements and stakeholder engagement.
• Build budget management capacity across colleges for instructional expenses.
• Promote equitable, transparent approaches to instructional-cost management.
