Job summary

Lilly is building a new GMP manufacturing site in Houston, TX, and seeks an Associate Director – Engineering (Automation) to lead process control engineers and drive reliable, compliant automation in startup and ongoing operations.

The role requires 5+ years in process control and automation engineering with 3+ years of leadership, plus experience with Rockwell and Emerson DeltaV. You will shape SOPs, regulatory readiness, and site-wide automation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.S. in Engineering (preferably Chemical Engineering).
• 5+ years of experience in Process Control and Automation Engineering.
• 3+ years of related leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, and onboard top talent to the Process Control Engineering team.
• Build the organization with capability, capacity, and culture to operate the facility to safety and quality standards.
• Develop and implement business systems and processes to run the site.
