Job summary

The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans seeks a staff member to develop, implement, and manage educational programs, courses and services. The role focuses on identifying new growth opportunities, coordinating with contract clients, and advancing strategic initiatives in education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in program development, educational program management, and/or event planning.
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult education principles or professional development practices.
• Experience managing budgets and logistical aspects of events, including contracts, reimbursements, and vendor coordination.
• Experience with relationship management, working with volunteers or external stakeholders, preferably in a nonprofit or association environment.
• Proven ability to speak publicly in an effective and professional manner.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits or human resources management is strongly preferred.
• CEBS certification is required; if not held, must achieve within 60 months.

Responsibilities

• Identify new growth opportunities, including new clients, programs, services, and collaborative initiatives.
• Design, develop, and promote program content for target audiences and prepare supporting documents.
• Lead committees and planning groups to develop topics and presenter recommendations.
• Select presenters/instructors and review outlines to ensure coverage of issues and regulations.
• Coordinate with presenters, write biographies, edit final materials, and analyze audience feedback.
