The role involves valuing financial instruments across the capital structure, developing and refining valuation methodologies, and collaborating closely with investment teams throughout the process. The successful candidate will also be expected to present valuation results and methodologies to valuation committees and senior stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:- Facilitating the quarterly valuation process for private equity and private credit investments- Building and maintaining valuation models, including DCF analysis, comparable company multiples, and option pricing frameworks- Developing and documenting valuation methodologies for illiquid and hard-to-value assets- Collaborating with portfolio managers and investment teams to gather data and validate assumptions- Presenting valuation results to valuation committees and responding to auditor inquiriesThe position is available across multiple U.S. locations including New York, Boston, Chicago, and Charlotte.
