Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Our financial services client is seeking an Associate Director, Data Product Management to lead their shared data products function within the digital product division. This individual will oversee a team of data analysts and data product managers, driving the vision and execution of a scalable data platform and building digital data products that provide key insights into product performance and user behavior. The ideal candidate has a background in data analysis and product management, you must have product management experience to be considered.

This is a full-time, direct hire role that will be hybrid (2-3x per week) in one of the following locations: Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, Charlotte, NC, Irving, TX, or New York, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead a new initiative within this organization.

Associate Director, Data Product Management Key Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and roadmap for the shared data platform, aligning with business and digital strategies. Manage data products from ideation to execution.
  • Develop data products that provide insights into user behaviors and product performance, helping drive adoption across the digital organization.
  • Partner with data engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements for a scalable, secure data platform
  • Establish and maintain best practices for data governance, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders to communicate progress and align on strategic priorities of data initiatives.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of data analysts and product managers.

Associate Director, Data Product Management Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years in data product management or analytics, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in building and scaling data platforms in financial services or digital product environments.
  • Expertise in digital, customer journey, and cross-channel analytics.
  • Proficiency with modern data platforms, cloud-based technologies (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP), and data tools.
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, able to tell a story with data that helps with influencing stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
