What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of curated datasets ensuring accuracy and reliability
- Implement and manage data quality processes and monitoring systems to ensure data integrity
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in transforming and publishing refined datasets
- Enforce data governance policies and compliance standards to protect sensitive information

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10+ years' experience in data management or data engineering, with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality management
- Hands-on experience with data acquisition, transformation, and data modeling techniques
- Proficiency in data catalog tools and metadata management
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contractual obligations

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and SAP data platforms (BW, HANA)
- Familiarity with data compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Experience with delivering data as a service (DaaS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in data engineering
- Ability to travel up to 25%
