A mission-driven, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company is seeking an Associate Director, Data & Analytics to play a key leadership role within its growing Data & Analytics organization. This role partners closely with Corporate, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders to deliver scalable, trusted, and high-impact analytics solutions that support strategic and operational decision-making.
This individual will translate complex business requirements into modern analytics, predictive modeling, and self-service insights using cloud-based data platforms and best-in-class governance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise analytics solutions supporting Corporate, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable analytics, reporting, and predictive solutions
- Design and oversee cloud-based data pipelines, semantic models, and governed analytics layers
- Build and enable self-service analytics and dashboards using modern BI and data platforms
- Lead development of advanced and predictive analytics to support forecasting, planning, and operational optimization
- Champion data quality, governance, privacy, and trust, including metadata, lineage, and access controls
- Partner cross-functionally with business leaders, data engineers, and analytics teams to deliver high-impact insights
- Mentor and guide analytics talent while driving best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or advanced analytics roles
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with experience in statistical modeling
- Deep experience with SQL, data integration, and scalable data products
- Expertise with modern BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Hands‑on experience with cloud-based analytics platforms and semantic modeling
- Strong experience with data modeling frameworks and production‑grade data transformations
- Proven track record implementing data quality, governance, and metadata management solutions
- Experience working in Agile environments and cross‑functional delivery models
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
