Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Data and AI Strategist to join our growing Data & AI services team at Acxiom. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, enabling clients to leverage data, AI, and marketing technologies as critical assets for business success. You will support the design and delivery of data and AI strategies that help clients unlock the value of their customer and marketing data. You will contribute to consulting engagements that strengthen data foundations, enable smarter activation, and prepare organizations for AI-driven marketing.

What You Will Do
  • Contribute to the delivery of data and AI strategy projects, working on workstreams such as current-state assessments, gap analyses, future-state design, and actionable roadmaps.
  • Analyze client data and marketing challenges to identify opportunities for stronger data foundations and responsible AI enablement, including reviewing and synthesizing client-provided documentation such as data catalogs, architectures, assessments, and reporting outputs.
  • Develop and present clear consulting deliverables (e.g., findings, frameworks, recommendations, and supporting slides) in a client-ready format.
  • Support strategy development in areas such as:
  • Customer data management, platforms, and governance.
  • Data quality, taxonomy, and metadata models.
  • Identity strategies and consent/preference management.
  • Activation through clean rooms, orchestration, and measurement.
  • Early-stage AI use cases and analytics for marketing impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, AI experts, and marketing specialists) to align on recommendations.
  • Stay curious and proactive: research emerging trends in data, AI, and marketing technology; bring fresh perspectives; and contribute ideas that push projects forward.
What You Will Have
  • 8 years of experience in strategic consulting, with a focus on data and AI strategy for marketing transformation.
  • Demonstrated success delivering data-driven projects that drive measurable business outcomes and client growth.
  • Proven expertise in developing strategic approaches to leveraging customer data (1P, 2P, 3P) to enable marketing innovation and organizational adoption.
  • Strong experience in data-driven marketing, including campaign development, measurement, and optimization.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into data and AI strategies and actionable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and intercultural teams, with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
What Will Set You Apart
  • Working knowledge of the Martech ecosystem and the functions of the tools within, including Customer Data Platforms, cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake), and journey orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and customer data touchpoints (e.g., cookies, device IDs, campaign data).
  • Understanding of measurement/attribution and data governance concepts.
  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) or analytics platforms (Adobe, Google Analytics).
  • Interest or basic exposure to AI concepts (machine learning, predictive modeling, generative AI) and their application to marketing strategy.
  • Background in a quantitative field (Business, Informatics, Economics, Computer Science, or related).
